Boyz II Dadz

A project designed to assist and support young fathers up to age 21 and their families. The Boyz II Dadz Program exists to help young fathers (up to age 21) develop strong, healthy relationships with their children. All services are free and totally confidential.

Being an active, involved father is the greatest gift you or anyone can give your child. He or she will:

  • Grow up knowing what it means to have a loving dad
  • Do better and go farther in school
  • Have higher self esteem
  • Get along better with other children
  • Have healthier relationships as an adult

It's our job to keep young dads involved in their kids' lives. To make things easier we offer:

  • Parenting and child development classes
  • Communication and relationship skills
  • Job training and placement
  • "Timeouts" for you to get together with other young dads
  • A 24-hour hotline to another dad who's there to help, not judge you - (218) 391-8330.

Boyz II Dadz is sponsored in part by the Minnesota Department of Children, Families and Learning and the Northland Foundation.
